Mei H G Turner is a professionally trained Vidal Sassoon Advanced
Academy Hairstylist and the owner of Rainbow Connection Salon.
She is fully qualified as a City & Guilds Vocational Assessor
& Hairdresser. Mei has also received a Master Craftsman
Award from the Hairdressing Council for Advanced Level Hairdressing
and Management. Since March 2002, Mei has been a Permanent Hair
Straightening Expert, adapting the various Japanese systems,
including the ‘Yuko System’ and the ‘Japan
Hair Remake System’, and has created her own formulae
and methods to achieve very successful results in permanent
hair straightening to meet individual needs. From March 2002
to December 2007, 647 people have had these treatments.
Creative, inspiring, dedicated and an uncompromising perfectionist
in hair design, the Artistic Team, under Mei’s leadership,
has achieved an excellent reputation for its commitment to quality
and professionalism, combined with the high levels of hairdressing
skills and an innovative approach to hair design.
Rainbow Connection is a unisex Wella Premier Hair Salon, an
Appointed Salon of ‘Great Lengths’ Hair Extensions
and an Appointed Salon for the ‘Yuko System’ &
the ‘Japan Hair Remake System, renowned for the revolutionary
hair treatment and permanent hair straightening.
All the stylists are fully qualified and the Hairdressing Council
has honoured the salon with the Master Craftsman Award. Mei
and her team of experts regularly attend the Vidal Sassoon Master
Classes to update the latest techniques in cutting, colouring
and styling, as Mei believes in investing in her team. She constantly
checks that their qualifications are the most up to standard
and fashion. To ensure that they are aware of the latest advances
in hair styling, she takes the team to visit the World Hair
Congress in London every year.
